Your story
Growing up, I played multiple sports — but I was still overweight through high school. I know what it's like to be the bigger kid on the team, working just as hard as everyone else and still not seeing the results you want. In college I played lacrosse, and over the next several years I lost nearly 60 pounds — not through crash dieting or extreme workouts, but by rebuilding the everyday habits that actually drive lasting change: how I ate, how I moved, how I recovered, how I managed stress. I've kept that weight off for years now, and at 30 I'm still playing competitive lacrosse — stronger and healthier than I was as a teenager.
That experience taught me the biggest lesson I bring into coaching: chasing the number on the scale rarely works. Getting healthy — really healthy — is what makes lasting weight loss possible, not the other way around.
